PROJECT STORYLINE:

ACT 1: The Set-Up

The client is a seasoned entrepreneur, wife and mother who had been through numerous significant changes during the course of her life and recognised that having someone to guide you through life’s challenging transitions would have been immensely useful for her. She embarked on achieving her full life-coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) qualifications and established her new life transition coaching practice. In order to be effective in her new found career, the client recognised that she would need a brand logo and a website.

ACT 2: The Challenge

The challenge was to help guide the client through a process that would enable her to define her brand effectively. Even with a limited knowledge of branding, we were able to craft a clear direction for the brand by exploring keywords that would represent the nature of services available under her stewardship. We explored the meaning behind certain animals and came upon the Crow as

“a symbol of balance, change, and transformation. Seeing a crow can remind us that change is part of life and that we have the strength to adapt and grow through changes.”

“The crow’s presence across different mythologies as a guide and messenger further underscores its connection with higher intelligence and awareness.“

These traits aligned perfectly with the client and so the design process began.

ACT 3: The Resolution

I wanted to keep the logo modern in its interpretation and developed a flowing line design to evoke the process or journey that clients would undertake.

The final mark is both unique and powerful as a visual representation of the business and the client was delighted wiht the outcome.
